Chakrata is a cantonment town and also a sub district/ Tehsil, in Dehradun district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is between the Tons and Yamuna rivers, at an elevation of 2118 m, 98 km from state capital, Dehradun; it was originally a cantonment of the British Indian Army.
Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1 Delhi to Almora
- Pick up from Delhi Early Morning from Railway Station and Transfer to Almora. Check in to the hotel. Evening visit Bright End Corner for Sunset. Night stay in Almora.
Day 2 Almora
- Morning after breakfast, full day Almora sightseeing tour. Visit Golu Devta Temple, Almora Fort (Currently Dist Collector Office), Kasar Devi Temple, State Museum & Simtola. Night stay in Almora.
Day 3 Almora to Delhi
- Morning after breakfast check out from hotel. Transfer to Kathgodam Railway Station. Drop at Kathgodam Railway Station.
